2. Ses Ànimes Viewpoint
The Sierra de Tramuntana is another of the island’s fabulous locations from which to enjoy the sunset in Mallorca. In the midst of breath-taking natural scenery you’ll find the Ses Ánimes or Las Almas Viewpoint, meaning ‘The Souls’. Located on the southern side of the Sierra, between the towns of Banyalbufar and Estellencs, you’ll be able to enjoy a truly stunning Majorcan sunset.
The viewpoint is located in an old mediaeval watchtower. Also known as El Verger Tower, it was once an important defensive structure designed to combat pirate attacks in the sixteenth century.
