What do the UTMB and the UTMB World Series consist in?

The Ultra Trail du Mont-Blanc, or UTMB, is one of the most prestigious mountain races in the world. With a distance of 171 km and 10,000 metres of vertical gain, the race circumnavigates Mont-Blanc and crosses three countries: France, Switzerland and Italy. This world trail running event includes seven other races of different distances. All UTMB races are run in a single stage and must be completed in a limited amount of time.

The UTMB World Series is the world’s leading trail running event, encouraging all runners to experience the UTMB adventure through a series of events held internationally in some of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes. Based on the values of fair play, solidarity and environmental protection, the circuit offers runners an exceptional experience. It is also the only way for runners to start their journey towards the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc and the UTMB World Series Finals.
