You can also arrive by public transport, although it is less direct. There are bus combinations from Palma to Cala Bona, taking line 401 —to Cala Millor— and then 412. The complete journey takes around two hours.
Another option is to go from Palma to Manacor, taking bus line 501 or train T3, and once there, take bus 412 to Cala Bona. It is a valid alternative if you are not in a hurry and prefer to avoid the car.
As for where to park, Cala Bona is a fairly accommodating town. As it is not a crowded area, it is relatively easy to find parking on the street, especially in residential areas and somewhat further from the promenade.

It maintains that air of an old fishing port, with small boats, restaurants and cafes, and a very pleasant atmosphere for strolling. It is a good place to get a close look at the llaüts, the traditional boats that were used in the past and that are still part of the port landscape.
From here starts the promenade, another of Cala Bona’s great attractions in Mallorca. The promenade connects directly with Cala Millor, so you can lengthen the walk as much as you want and take the opportunity to get to know another nearby town with more atmosphere.
