Upon arrival, it promises a dream property in an original setting. Located at the foot of the Serra Tramuntana, passing through picturesque landscapes, flowering meadows, in the middle of an oak forest, you drive along a well-preserved rural road to the former estate of a large landowner. The holiday estate. "Es Rafal", an oasis of rest and relaxation, is one of the most exclusive estates in Mallorca due to its uniqueness and excellent characteristics. Once here, everyone can relax, rest and enjoy the virgin nature and the panoramic view from the terraces of the valleys and mountains,
Another point to highlight is the 6 m x 4 m infinity pool. By the way, the water that fills this pool comes from the nearby natural spring "Ses Fonts Ufanes". A rustic natural stone staircase with a twisted olive wood handrail leads you to the fantastically located pool. Between refreshing swims in the pool, you can relax on the loungers and perhaps simply do nothing; after all, it is holiday time.
About the swimming pool area is the enormous esplanade, a place that looks majestic with its tall palm tree. The current terrace area is at the back. The elaborate design of the floor and the facade of the house with its original entrance door offer a unique backdrop and a wonderful place to stay. Here you can sit under the deep blue sky in the morning and enjoy a delicious breakfast, and let a satisfying day end at night.
The interior of the property also amazes the visitor. A glass door luxuriously decorated with coloured glasses leads to the open living-dining room with a modern, fully equipped integrated kitchen. The living room is equipped with comfortable seat cushions, television and a fireplace integrated into the masonry, WIFI and satellite TV. The large natural wood dining table offers plenty of space for cosy gatherings, debates and "princely" meals. Those who prefer it rustic can use the traditional living area in front of the fireplace, in the style of a Mallorcan country house.
The bedrooms are, each one in itself, small luxury oases with an individual and particularly aesthetic note. The imposing design of the floor, walls and ceiling is as impressive as the selected furniture and the skillfully placed individual pieces. The 5 bedrooms have bathrooms with showers integrated into the room. The bathroom elements are ultramodern and harmoniously integrated into the Mallorcan design room environment.

The owner Antonio was phenomenal. He came and showed us around the grounds, let us pick fresh oranges and showed us his beautiful orchard. While the house had “air conditioning”, the units were extremely weak and didn’t really cool down the room. We see more

While the house had “air conditioning”, the units were extremely weak and didn’t really cool down the room. We loved the house a lot otherwise and really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend for large groups (the only caveat would be we would not recommend if you have small children/toddlers, as to access the pool, you need to go down steep steps, which was a hazard)

La villa et ses alentours étaient à là hauteurs de nos attentes. Confortable, paisible et calme car très isolée avec une vue magnifique sur une nature omniprésente. Le propriétaire adorable (et gay-friendly) nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesee more
La villa et ses alentours étaient à là hauteurs de nos attentes. Confortable, paisible et calme car très isolée avec une vue magnifique sur une nature omniprésente. Le propriétaire adorable (et gay-friendly) nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse et nous a offert une délicieuse Ensaimada (spécialité majorquine). Les chambres dotées de grands lits queen size, avec chacune sa climatisation et sa salle de bain intégrées sont un vrai plus, de quoi accueillir facilement 10 personnes (nous étions 7). La piscine et la terrasse nous ont offert de bons moments de détente et de partage, même si le soleil tapait fort dès le petit matin ☀️ Les supermarchés sont a 10 minutes en voiture dans la ville de Sa Pobla. Le nord de l’île, là où est située la maison regorge de belles cala et plages ainsi que de beaux villages comme Polença. Ce fut une belle semaine de vacances ! Merci !
