First of all, you should know that Santa Margalida is a municipality with several kilometres of coastline, and when people talk about its beach they\u2019re almost always talking about Can Picafort, as it\u2019s the biggest and the one with the most services. <\/span><b>It\u2019s in the Bay of Alc\u00fadia, in the north of Mallorca<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. And yes, it\u2019s the one you\u2019ll find on most maps under that name.<\/span><\/p><p><b>It\u2019s a beach of fine, golden sand, with calm waters and a lively seafront promenade<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, making it ideal whether you\u2019re coming as a family or looking for a plan as a couple or with friends. Depending on how you measure it, it\u2019s between 1.3 and 2.5 kilometres. What\u2019s clear is that it\u2019s a <\/span><b>long beach, with fine sand and shallow waters<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014perfect for visiting with kids.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2023 it was one of the three beaches in Santa Margalida to fly the Blue Flag, along with Son Baul\u00f3 and Son Serra de Marina\u2014more than well deserved.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As for services, it has <\/span><b>lifeguards, showers, toilets, bins, cleaning, and sun umbrella and sun lounger hire<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Quite the opposite: there are others that are very different from each other, from fully serviced sandy beaches to almost unspoilt corners, and they\u2019re well worth getting to know depending on the kind of plan you have.<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Son Baul\u00f3<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: it\u2019s at one end of the bay, southeast of Can Picafort, and it\u2019s the smallest, at around 160 metres. It has similar services to the main beach\u2014toilets, showers, sun umbrella and sun lounger hire\u2014a beautiful wooden walkway, and views towards Cap Ferrutx.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Playa Petita<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: it\u2019s much more natural and quiet, although it doesn\u2019t have its own services. It\u2019s a great option if you\u2019re looking to switch off and you don\u2019t mind bringing your own towel, umbrella, and something to eat and drink.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Son Serra de Marina<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: it has a more unspoilt-looking coastline, around 400 to 450 metres long, with very crystal-clear waters. It\u2019s a beach that locals visit a lot, with few services and a nearby yacht club.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Es Com\u00fa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: it\u2019s the most natural stretch of the great Playa de Muro and is part of the Parc Natural de s\u2019Albufera area. It\u2019s the perfect option if you\u2019re looking for sand, calm, and fewer people, although it\u2019s not as easy to get to as the others.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And don\u2019t stop at just these. There isn\u2019t just one stretch of sand\u2014we can say that the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.idealpropertymallorca.com\/blog\/nicest-beaches-in-mallorca\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">best beaches in Mallorca<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are many, and every single one is worth a
