In its day, it served to protect the valley&#8217;s inhabitants from pirate attacks\u2014yes, they were everywhere in Mallorca! <\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today <strong>it functions as a cultural center hosting exhibitions and concerts<\/strong>, in addition to offering a very enriching visit for just \u20ac3.
