We encourage you to do this forty-minute climb on foot which, apart from being a demanding physical activity, is a real treat for the senses. You will also be able to see the church of Calvary, which throughout history has passed through different hands, such as the Templars. A total of 365 steps<\/strong>, one for each day of the year, await you among cypresses and crosses, as well as beautiful panoramic views. You can also go up or down the slope of the viewpoint where you will find the 14 crosses<\/strong> which, according to Christian tradition, Jesus Christ endured on his way to Mount Golgotha where he was crucified.<\/p>

Over the years, a total of thirteen caves have been identified, but unfortunately five of them have been destroyed.
